Let's change the journalism program

 I've always thought that journalism students need to have more practical classes, more focus on what we're going to be working on later. Whether it's writing, radio, television or administrative, I feel we lack more focus on that and less on the (boring) theories.

So if I could change something about the journalism program, I would eliminate most of the basic training classes, because they tend to repeat theories and texts, I would see them only in one year (I could not say in which one) and then I would put more practical classes that could cover all the different areas where there is a job offer for journalists.

Along the lines of the last sentence, I would add more journalism electives, currently they only cover the basics, but I think more areas should be given the opportunity.

On the structural aspect, I have always said I would change the chairs haha, they are very uncomfortable. Of the room itself, I would add more natural light, they are very cold.

Also, I would facilitate the loan of equipment such as cameras and audio things, I know it is more complicated because of the number of students, but in that case I would ask for more flexibility from the teachers.

Talking about the professors, I would change many teaching methods, some are very lecture-like (even for practical classes), they do not attract attention and have very long classes for very dense topics, I think we have to look for new teaching methods.

Well, to finish, to say that maybe I speak very personal because I don't like the theory and I don't like to study it, in fact I almost never read the texts haha, they are very boring and they don't call my attention (the grammar is very good), I don't like the theory and I don't like to study it, in fact I almost never read the texts.
